The hotel's strategically located if you want to go over to Penang Island as it is very near to the bridge & highway. The rooms are a bit underlight and weren't ready when we arrived; however, the temperature control is an issue. The service was attentive, especially with room check-in arrangements for my friend, and the staff in F&B and foyer were friendly and considerate, although some seemed like trainees with slow reception processing. The location is friendly and very convenient with many famous restaurants around, perfect for a short business trip but not as great compared to island hotels. The dining experience was fantastic with a wide buffet spread; however, choosing from the many options could be overwhelming. The facilities are good overall but could use some improvements.
